About Me
Hi! I'm Amir, a 21 year old developer based out of LA and NYC.
My focus is on the intersection of data, machine learning, and product development. I'm passionate about building systems that create more engaging, fair, and responsible gaming experiences—from player safety agents and real-time analytics to automated trading bots that operate on the market itself.
I'm the creator of ClutchPoker, a live poker training app with paying users, which I grew by building an audience of over a million monthly views on YouTube. This experience taught me to ship products that people actually want and to think like a product owner, not just a programmer.
I thrive on building end-to-end solutions. My toolkit includes:
- Backend: Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Supabase
- Frontend: React Native (Expo), TypeScript, Streamlit
- ML & Data: PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, Faiss
- Infrastructure: Docker, Serverless/Edge Functions
I'm always open to discussing new opportunities where I can help use my skills to help keep people safe!
Creative Pursuits
Outside of building software, I'm passionate about the music and art scene in LA and NYC (I'm back forth pretty often). I organize and promote live events, from DIY raves to screamo toy-drives. I also enjoy documenting my surroundings through photography.
